Scope & quote

Send the scope. Get a number.

By the hour, by the document, or by the task. Tell us what you need and we price it against the scope and the people it takes — then match a verified chief engineer, CFM or SME and stand behind the work.

01 — How it works

One number. Priced by people who've done the work.

No bidding, no auction, no race to the bottom. We read the scope, price it against what it actually takes, and put the right person on it. You get one number and one accountable party.

01

Send the scope

Equipment, deliverable, timing, and what documentation you can provide. Three minutes.

02

We price and match

One business day. You get a fixed price or an hourly rate with an estimate, plus the credentials and relevant hours of the person assigned.

03

Approve, then pay

Funds held by our payment processor and released when you approve the deliverable. You work with your assigned expert directly throughout.

Already have a budget? Send the number instead of a scope. We'll accept it or tell you what it needs to be, in two business days, with no proposal cycle. How that works →
Why we don't run an auction. Open bidding turns skilled trades into a price contest and drives out exactly the people you want. We price the scope once, pay our experts properly, and carry the accountability ourselves — which is what you're actually buying when the work touches energized gear or a live loop.
02 — Typical ranges

What work like this usually runs.

Ranges, not a rate card. Every scope is priced individually against the work, the timing and who has to do it. Rush, travel and specialized scopes price above these.

ScopeTypical rangeBasisNotes
SME advisory, short form$375–600/hrHourlyTwo-hour minimum
Site-specific procedure$895–2,600Per documentMulti-path and lineup work at the upper end
Procedure or EHS package$1,750–6,200FixedSeveral documents plus the frequency matrix
Asset registry & index$115/assetPer assetScoped to counts, change-ordered if they move
Commissioning support$210–335/hrHourlyOwner-side or contractor-side, L4–L5
Field deployment crew$135–195/hrHourly, per personWhips, TCS loops, energization. Travel separate.
Readiness assessment$30,000–60,000FixedLiquid cooling and operational readiness

Travel, per diem and mobilization are always separate line items and never buried in the rate. Fixed-price scopes are fixed — if the scope moves, that's a written change order before any additional work starts.

03 — What the price covers

One price, one accountable party.

You're not paying a platform fee on top of a contractor rate. You're paying for a scoped deliverable from a firm that carries the insurance, vets the people, and answers for the work.

Vetted
People, not profiles
Chief engineers, CFMs and SMEs we've worked alongside or verified directly.
Insured
E&O and liability
Certificates on request. We're the contracting party, not a referral.
25% / 75%
Deposit, then on approval
25% engagement deposit secures the crew and the calendar. The balance is held by our processor and released when you accept the work.
Fixed
No scope drift
Written change order before any additional work. Never a surprise invoice.
Engagement deposit — 25%, non-refundable. Once a scope is accepted we assign specialists, hold calendar dates, and turn down other work for that window. That cost is incurred whether or not the engagement proceeds, so the deposit is non-refundable from the point work is scheduled. The remaining 75% sits with our payment processor and releases only when you accept the deliverable.

The one exception runs in your favour: if we fail to deliver or cancel the engagement, the deposit is returned in full. You are never charged for our non-performance.
Licensed and accredited, per trade. Every specialist we place or assign holds the licensure and accreditation their discipline requires — electrical and HVACR contractor licenses, PE seals where work requires a seal, NETA and BCxA credentials, and current OSHA and NFPA 70E training. We verify standing before assignment and re-verify annually. Certificates and license numbers on request.
Under what an agency charges, above what an agency pays. We don't carry a recruiting floor, an office, or a sales team. That gap goes to the client on one side and the expert on the other — which is why our people take our work first.
